A skylight is only as reliable as the seal and the flashing that surround it. Three things make a Cochrane skylight replacement last, all in every Sure West project.
A Sure West roofer checks the existing skylight, the surrounding flashing, and the deck below for moisture, rot, or movement, then confirms the right replacement unit and size. We tell you straight if anything beyond a like-for-like swap needs addressing.
The old skylight is removed, the deck inspected and repaired as needed, then the new unit set with manufacturer flashing kit and ice-and-water shield. Shingles are woven back in and tested for water-tightness. For tubular installs, the rooftop dome is sealed and flashed per spec.
Every Sure West skylight project comes with a written workmanship guarantee on the install, layered on top of the manufacturer warranty that protects the unit itself. Both are spelled out in your written quote before any work begins. Two layers of accountability, neither hidden in fine print.
